We specialize in selling gently-used paperback books of all genres and for all ages, although we have a good selection of hardback books as well. We also have a trade credit policy whereby customers can bring in their used books and receive store credit to apply towards future purchases.
Owned and operated by Hunter’s Creek resident Brooke Waters, Dog-Eared Books is the culmination of 15+ years of planning. A self-described bookworm, Brooke had been a regular customer of used bookstores wherever she and her family lived, and always dreamed of opening one of her own. After relocating to Hunter’s Creek in 2008 due to her husband’s job, she discovered that there were no used bookstores in the area, and therefore set about making her dream a reality.
